Life’s transitions

The last 2 blog posts I made were over 10 years ago soon after completing my PhD. It is the time in my life for another egregious transition, so bam! I began studying AI in 2002 due to its coolness and promise. The terminator movie was also a big catalyst, as it shows the dangers of absolute AI. The strength of technology can only be truly realized when its power is understood and its use is constricted. The constrictions need to be built into the technology, where possible, and into the cultural identity of the thing.

I will be teaching many scholars a strigent philosophy for the proper acquisition/usage of knowledge and the proper place for technology along with the multi-dimensional constraints which should always be involved in technological design and implementation.
